If you don’t know me I love trying and testing new programs that help make our life as designers and business owners easier! So when I stumbled upon a newer CRM called Moxie that had almost* all the same functions as our beloved Honeybook I had to give it a little test drive! I have been using Moxie for the last few weeks and here is my review of Moxie vs. Honeybook. The question is though am I really saying goodbye to Honeybook and hello to Moxie?

What is Moxie?

Moxie is an all-in-one business management platform designed specifically for creative entrepreneurs and small business owners. It is very similar to the functions that of Honeybook. From managing clients and projects to creating contracts and invoices, Moxie streamlines the entire process, making running a business easier and more efficient.

Why I’m kinda digging Moxie vs Honeybook:

All of the features we know and love about Honeybook are available on Moxie.

1. Organization: Moxie keeps all of your client information, project details, and communication in one place, making it easy to stay organized and on top of everything. You can access everything you need from your computer or mobile device, so you can manage your business from anywhere.

2. Time-saving features: Moxie also utilizes automation and workflows like sending reminders for payments and deadlines, creating contracts and invoices, and managing your schedule. This frees up more time for you to focus on the creative work that you love.

3. Professionalism: With Moxie, you can create professional-looking and branded contracts, proposals, invoices, and other documents that reflect your brand and make a great impression on clients. You can also customize your templates to include your logo and other branding elements.

4. Payment processing: Moxie makes it easy to accept payments from clients, They integrate with stripe and paypal. You can even set up automated payment plans and payment reminders to make sure you get paid on time.

5. Buit in scheduling: Make appointments with clients right through Moxie. Moxie integrates with your calendar and you can set up availability and meeting types for clients. Moxie also integrated with google meet to set up your video call for you!

6. Affordability: The biggest reason I’m thinking of moving permanently over to Moxie is the pricing. If you have been around a while you know Honeybook and Dubsado have raised their prices considerably over the last few years. Hey, that’s part of the business so I get it but if you are anything like me and like to save money Moxie takes the cake here! At the time of this post, Moxie Pro plan is only $20 per month making that a 50% money saving from Honeybook.

Overall, I found Moxie had many of the same features I utilize from HoneyBook. The Dashboard is pretty easy to navigate and while the proposals were not as customizable as Honeybook I felt where it lacked there made up for the money I was saving. So far I believe Moxie is a game-changer for anyone who runs a small business and wants to save money on a cheaper option.

So Am I Really Saying Goodbye to Honeybook and Hello to Moxie?

As of now Yes! I have officially joined the Moxie Crew! While I still love Honeybook, I am at a place in my business where saving money is just as important as my client workflows.
